Biography

SamBio.jpg“Behold I am with you always even unto the end of time.”

“I rejoiced when they said to me; let us go to the house Of he Lord.” Little did Sam Kauffman know her favorite childhood Bible verse would become the foundation of a music ministry leading her to sing extensively across the United States, Canada and Europe.

With over thirty five different musical programs available, Sam's style is hallmarked by her storytelling ability along with her singable music and memorable lyrics. Sam is also the founder  of The Colombine Foundation, a non-profit organization that addresses core youth issues and youth violence. Through her interdenominational ministry, each year Sam presents over 100 concerts, programs, workshops and retreats for church services,  children and youth events, schools, conventions, women and family ministries. She also offers seasonal programs for Christmas and Easter.  As the composer and lyricist of "In This Room" Sam was honored when Kairos Outside adopted it as their International theme song.  Kairos Outside is an interdenominational group providing spiritual support for women who have a loved one who is now or has been incarcerated.

“When I started this ministry I promised God I would walk through the doors He opened.  I have learned a wonderful lesson about God's faithful goodness!”

While Sam's music has received radio airplay across the United States, it is her work with churches throughout America which remains the focus of her Servant's Heart Ministry. “Serving the needs of the local church is at the heart of my ministry.”
